Kaizen’s Angie Huff selected for Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021

Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021

London, 15 March 2022 – Leading regulatory technology firm, Kaizen Reporting today announced that its Regulatory Advisory Director, Angie Huff has been selected for Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021 under the Policymakers & Regulatory Experts category. A panel of independent industry judges chose the top 250 women across nine categories from thousands of entries.

The Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021 focuses on the women leading innovation in financial services. Now in its 7th year, the Powerlist has increasingly attracted a global audience, resulting in applications and nominations from around the world.

Angie said, “It is an honour to have been included in Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021 alongside so many inspiring women. Thank you to Innovate Finance and to the judges for shining a spotlight on the contribution of women in this important sector and for showing that we are really making a difference to the industry at large.”

Parveen Dhanda, Ecosystem Director, Innovate Finance said, “What a privilege and honour it was to read such phenomenal stories from across the globe on the achievements of women in FinTech. The women in this powerlist have not only demonstrated how they have contributed above and beyond their role but have also gone beyond supporting diversity and inclusion in their workplace and the wider ecosystem. What surprised me about the applications was that there were so many firsts. ‘I was the first female on a board/first female in the executive team/first female on the tech team’. Today is a great celebration yet we still have a long way to go so the narrative changes from ‘I was the first female’.”

Angie is a pioneer in regulatory technology, leaving her director role at a tier 1 bank in 2013 to become an entrepreneur and develop a system solution to solve the challenge of shareholding disclosure monitoring and reporting. Angie designed and built a system to address all the challenges she had faced during her career in shareholding disclosures at four tier 1 banks. The service was acquired by Kaizen Reporting in 2020 and Angie continues to spearhead it, aiming to further improve it for clients and expand globally.

In 2007 Angie also advised on the design of the aosphere Rulefinder shareholding disclosure product from global law firm Allen and Overy.
