This January marked the three year anniversary of MiFID II’s implementation, a complex piece of regulation meant to enhance investor protection. During the past three years, the industry has been sharing best practices on how to overcome MiFID II implementation challenges, resulting in some positive changes. However, when it comes to transaction reporting, challenges remain with firms still grappling to adopt the right regulatory reporting process; to put in place the right controls to correctly meet obligations.
